A Few Gatherings, An Abundance of Joy & Laughter
1st Outing: 20th Jan, 7pm, Sukae Sushi & TCC
Dinner With FEF Colleagues.
These lovely ppl bought me dinner and coffee for my birthday.
These friends are really worth befriending. Bought a slice of cheesecake for me. (My Fav)
Miss working with this bunch, looks like no chance to go back anymore.
2nd Outing: 26th Jan, 8.30pm, Timbre
Chill out with Sisters
Timbre's kinda run down, the table n chairs kinda wobbly. But the environment was good for chilling.
Band only started @ 10.30pm, n breaks were longer than the periods they sang. n the songs, not comfortable to my ears. left @ 12am for supper @ chinatown.
11.30pm, mum sms me y i'm not back yet. What the shit. I told her i will b late. LATE as in after midnight. different levels of LATENESS
Exciting is that this is my FIRST ever time, STAYING OUTSIDE TILL SO LATE.
What an achievement!!!! (Many more to come)
Visit to Rachie's house was cool too. after moving in for years, we get to go to her place. What a lame excuse to use the loo...
Slept only @ 4am, deprive of sleep

3rd Outing: 27th Jan, Birthday itself
Woke up @ 10.30am, because got 1 fat pig on tv so loud. Not cooperative @ all.
Mum gave me a bigger Ang Pow cause i didn't want a cake. From this year, i dun wan cakes anymore!!!! (money money come) Dad's ang pow nv increase in size.
stayed @ home, chill n listen to music.
A Birthday present came from dad's friend, a pair of specs that he arranged for me. plastic lens. 1st time ever. but too thick. frames r pretty. Supposed to pay him, but he says no need> so its aka my birthday pressie.
Went out for dinner with Family. Ate our Hokkien food.
4th Outing: Uni Friends, K Box @ Cine
Woke up @ 10am.
Met up for lunch> Pastamania. Had my birthday pressie> A New Wallet.
Cine sound system sucks! Kept adjusting, just couldn't get wat i wanted.
But sang some v nice songs i thought i could nv do it. Like> Huang Da Wei- Ni Ba Wo Guan Zhuai and Chao Ge's Shi Jie Wei Yi De Ni
So high songs, but perfect for my voice. i love them!
V fun, cause diff ppl bring on diff songs. i was singing mostly old songs, kana from the girls. N to them, i'm like a radio, every song also know.
5th Outing: Lunch & Shopping With Godma
Prayed grandpa in the morning, woke up @ 7am.
after which, sent gm to market and then home.
Left for Ikea and Giant, Tampines Link
Ikea's so big there. Bought some stuff too. a stool, a cockboard and 2 lovely plants which i've repotted @ hung them on my window.
Giant v enormous too. something like carrefour.
Makan @ ikea's cafeteria. Miss the wings so much, each of us had 3 pairs.
had salmon, but think i will give it a miss from now. the fishy smell is too hard to bear!!!
Went back to GM house to take soil from her to do repotting. GM's cool, she's got a whole bucket full of soil that's damn fertile looking... hope these 2 pots r good. & she gave me nettings, to put below the pots, so that the soil wun drop out from the holes. Innovative right??
She wanted to buy milk powder n jam, so i told her i will go wf dad to buy.
thinking that it will not b that heavy, i diverted from bugis mrt to tekka.
3 packs of anlene milk n 4 bottles of jams were indeed DAMN HEAVY! but, anything for GM.
Thanks everyone who made my 22nd birthday so special.
Like wat rachie say, it takes a long time for ppl who r aging to get back sufficient rest. only until 2day do i feel fresh n peeked up, thanks to 10 hrs of beauty sleep.
& rachie, u r not alone, we sisters will be here to stay... Love u lots.
